Dorothy E. Mussler, age 58, of Salem, died at 11:55 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 in the Emergency Room of Salem Community Hospital following a sudden illness. She was born July 29, 1955 in Youngstown the daughter of the late Roy Everett and Mary (Paulesi) McDole. Dorothy worked for the Home Care Advantage as a caregiver for 12 years. She was a 1973 graduate of Poland High School and a member of the Salem TOPS Chapter. Dorothy loved to read and do crossword puzzles and especially loved to spend time with her granddaughter. Her husband, Ronald D. Mussler, whom she married April 18, 1981, preceded her in death, December 25, 2008. An infant daughter, Sara Jane Mussler also preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Becky E. (Mike Skeels) Mussler of Salem and brothers, John McDole of Etters, Pennsylvania, Joseph Teterich of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Roy McDole of Youngstown and a granddaughter, Addison Skeels.
