Dorothy Evonne (Hendrickson) Frohling, the daughter of Daniel and Eleanor (Dyvig) Hendrickson, was born on September 2, 1921, on a farm near Jewell, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth, graduating from Stanhope High School in 1937.
Dorothy was united in marriage to Darrel Maynard Frohling in Jewell, Iowa on March 9, 1941. Together they farmed for over 60 years. Dorothy never retired from farming or being a farm wife.
Dorothy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February17, 2021, at her home, at the age of 99 ½ years. She was preceded in death by her husband Darrel in 2008; her parents and three sisters: Charlotte Faust, Doris Klaver (her twin) and Elsie Peterson/Book.
