Those left to honor Dorothy’s memory are her four sons, Byron E. Damman of Newton, Gary A. (Sandy) Damman of Altoona, Denny L. (Judy) Damman of Boone, and Dave L. (Pam) Damman of Marshalltown; eleven grandchildren, Toni Werden, Todd (Deb) Damman, Trisha (Danny) Marshall, Kelly (Gary) Lane, Tim Damman, Gina Bouton, Kyle Damman, Bill (Lisa) Damman, Chris (Danette) Damman, Eric (Jennifer) Damman, and Jessica Damman (Jason Rickers); her eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Clara (Tinnermeier) Eibs; husband, August E. “Babe” Damman, Jr. in 2003; two brothers and a sister.
Dorothy was a longtime resident of Malaka Township of Jasper County, Iowa; where she was a homemaker and farmer’s wife.
