Newark – Dorothy Esther Beal, 82 died Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at Via Health of Wayne-Newark Campus.
Mrs. Beal was born the daughter of William and Grace (Farnsworth) Chamberlain on July 30, 1920 in Newark, New York. She had worked for Sarah Coventry for several years and also worked with her husband as a hairdresser at Lester’s Beauty Salon in Newark. Mrs. Beal was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newark and enjoyed collecting antiques.
Mrs. Beal is survived by her husband Lester “Pete” Beal; son and daughter-in-law David and Candice Beal of CT.; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Beal was predeceased by her daughter Roxanne Beal in 1963; three brothers and three sisters.
