Dorothy Driscoll Bosco passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gilbert F. Bosco, Sr. and Grandson Michael Anthony Browning. Dorothy is survived by her 3 children, Carolyn Browning, wife of Michael L. Browning, Gilbert F. Bosco, Jr., and Mary Marks, wife of Chris A. Marks. Grandmother of Mark Joseph Browning, Brandi Marks Theard (David), and Matthew David Browning, and 7 great grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Victoria Prinz Driscoll and Walter E. Driscoll, Sr., sister of Walter E. Driscoll, Jr., aunt of numerous nieces & nephews.
Dorothy was co-owner of Driscoll’s Pharmacy in the historic Bywater. She graduated valedictorian of Francis T. Nicholls High school in 1942. She retired from Naval Reserve Personnel Center after 19 years.
