Holland- Dorothy “Dottie” M. Cox, 83, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 4, 2021 at the home of her son, Ryan and Kelly in Sturbridge surrounded by family and love. Dottie was born June 13, 1937 to the late Richard McDonald and Helen (Jackson) McDonald Westergard. She was raised in Michigan by her mother Helen and step-father Olaf Westergard. Dottie was educated in Michigan and was a graduate of Vandercook Lake High School.
Dottie leaves her loving husband of 64 years, Robert E. Cox, Sr.; sons, Randy L. Cox of Holland, Ryan A. Cox and his wife Kelly of Sturbridge; a daughter, Renee A. Fitzgerald and her husband Gregory of Milford, NH; sisters, Doris Young of Traverse City, MI and Cyndee Delk of Idaho; fourteen grandchildren, Matthew, Mike, Ashlynn, Jessica, Sarah, Isabella, Brandyn, Shawn, Michaela, Megan, Chelsea, Brittany, Ben and Will and 14 great grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by a son Robert E. Cox, Jr and her brother in-law, Karl Young.
