Miss Dot began her working career as an employee of D. H. Holmes in the 1940s. Later she served First English Lutheran and St. Paul-First English Lutheran School in numerous valuable roles. These included: Assistant to Pastor Taglauer, with his confirmation classes; server in the school’s lunch program; and, as Assistant in the preschool. She delighted in her family, each and every one of them. Her love was unconditional and her interest in their lives was constant. She was the beacon of her family, guiding them with her faith and her immeasurable kindness. She found joy in her gardens.. She was our was preceded in death by her parents, August P.. Hahn, Jr., and Wayne B. .
