Dorothy “Doll” Hervieux, of Southgate, formerly of Allen Park, passed away April 19, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Dear mother of Patricia (Dave) Reinhold, Judy Wenzel, Suzanne Hervieux, and Jean (Terry) Tingle. Loving grandmother of Jacky Reinhold (Kevin Bailey), David (Marisa) Reinhold, Michael Wenzel, Matthew Wenzel (Shannon Murphy), Patrick Wenzel, Lauren (Charlie) Ferro and Alexander Tingle (Pablo Cuevas). Proud great grandmother of Charlee and Cole Ferro, Charlie and Benjamin Tingle. She is preceded in death by two of her children, Kathleen (1992) and Thomas (1957).Dorothy was born in Ireland but moved to England where she was raised. As a Bletchley Park worker at the onset of WWII, she was a part of MI6 and was a Wren in the British Navy. She was a war bride who immigrated to the United States after she married an American serviceman as a young woman, and a mother to six. She was as sharp as ever: up to speed on domestic politics and world events. She enjoyed her occasional trips back to England, and never stopped missing her home. She had a passion for ballet dancing, various sports, the Royal Family, music, world news and reading. Being raised in the Catholic church, she was very devoted to her Catholic faith. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and was always so curious about their lives.
