Dorothy Colonnese, 83 formerly of Tuttle Dr. New Haven passed away peacefully on Sept. 6, 2012 at her home in Venice FL. A daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine DeFrank Colonnese she was born in New Haven on Jan. 10, 1929. Dorothy worked as a secretary for the railroad for 47 years until her retirement. She is survived by her sister Ruth (Tom) Cariglio of New Haven and her brother Joseph (Patricia) Colonnese of Venice FL. Also survived by her cherished nieces Joanne (Mark) Prete and Melissa (Marc) Gordon and her beloved nephews Tom (Andrea) Cariglio and Christopher (Sarah) Colonnese as well as family and friends in New Haven and Venice FL.
