Dorothy C. Krause, 72, of Easton, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Moravian Village Skilled Care, Bethlehem. Born in Shamokin, Pa., she was the only child of the late John and Vera (Hancock) Reed. Dorothy graduated from Tamaqua High School, class of 1957 and Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1960. During her career as an RN, she worked at the Doylestown Hospital, the VNA of Bethlehem and the former Ridgeway Phillips. Dorothy was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bethlehem. She enjoyed reading and the beach. Survivors: a daughter, Susan C. Barber and her husband David of Hatboro; a son, David R. Rubart and his wife, Debra of Center Valley; 5 grandchildren, Sharon and Leah Rubart, Megan, Melissa and Jack Barber; and her husband Terrence V.
