Dorothy Bell Higgins Moseley of Greensboro, Georgia, died Friday, February 7, 2014 at Boswell Parker Health and Rehabilitation in Greensboro at the age of 82. Born in Winder, GA on April 21, 1931, Dot was the daughter of the late Russell Cleveland Higgins and Arizona Missouri Robertson Higgins. She graduated from Winder High School and attended Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, GA. On March 4, 1954, she married Robert Edward Moseley, Sr. and at the time of his death in 2012 they had been married nearly fifty-eight years. Early in her working career she was a receptionist for an Optometrist and after moving to Greensboro worked for the Greene County Library as the Librarian.
In addition to her husband, Robert Edward Moseley, Sr. who predeceased her on January 4, 2012, she was preceded in death by a brother, Hartwell Jackson Higgins who died in World War II. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Jean Moseley Moore and husband Ricky of Greensboro, GA; a son, Robert Edward Moseley, Jr. of Greensboro, GA, two grandchildren, Robin Elizabeth Lanier and husband William Chase of Evans, GA and Jacqueline April Grubel and husband Richard of Clemson, SC; one great grandchild, Amelia Kate Lanier; a brother, Jerry Richard Higgins and wife Polly of Aiken, SC; and a number of other relatives and friends.
