Dorothy B. Clark Duvall, 98, Anderson, died June 17, 2005 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness.
She was born November 10, 1906 in Vevay, Indiana, and was a resident of this area for most of her life. She was a graduate of Hanover College.
She was a homemaker and a teacher in Fairview, Indiana from 1925 to 1926 in a one room schoolhouse.
She was the oldest and charter member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Bethesda White Shrine of Jerusalem #11, Killbuck Retiree’s Club and Meadowbrook Baptist Church Quilter’s Guild.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret L. Jarrett of Anderson; three grandchildren, David & wife Donna Jarrett of Orlando, Florida, Dr. Jeffrey & wife Sheree Jarrett of Middletown, Ohio and Dr. James E. & wife Gretchen Jarrett of Carmel; eight great grandchildren, Jennifer Jarrett of Chicago, Illinois, Kyle Jarrett of Carmel, Alenna & husband Kurt Pennington of Lebanon, Ohio, Kaley Jarrett and Cara Young all of Middletown, Ohio and Beau Jarrett, Abby Jarrett and Brooke Jarrett all of Orlando, Florida; sister-in-law, Genola Duvall of Vevay; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married March 20, 1926 in Fairview, Indiana, Ray E. Duvall on March 11, 1987; parents, Lincoln F. & India Palace Ford Clark; sister, Culla Whitsitt; brother, Dilver Clark and son-in-law, Richard Jarrett.
