Dorothy Ashley Gregory of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 31, 1922 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Drew Edward and Versie Jane Appling Ashley. She was an active member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she played the piano faithfully. She enjoyed playing bingo and dominoes at the Grant County Senior Citizens Center, crocheting, and cooking. She had worked at the Jacksonville Ordinance Plant alongside 4 of her sisters and had owned and operated a gas station with her husband in her earlier years.
Ms. Gregory died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 94.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.O. Gregory, her son, Randy Gregory, sisters, Mildred Whitaker, Trula McGarity, Joyce Sites and Delphia Culpepper.
Survivors: grandson, Cody and wife Haley Gregory; great granddaughters, Lillian Gregory and Breanna Reynolds; daughter-in-law, Sandra Gregory; sisters, Betty Horton all of Sheridan, Shirley James of Dublin, Georgia; brother-in-law, Clyde Sites of Sheridan and numerous, nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
