WINSTED – Dorothy Annette Lanko, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022 after a long illness. She was the loving wife of the late Paul Lanko for 55 years. Born February 16, 1932 and raised in Bakersville; the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Fleming) Vickers.Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was so proud of them and told everyone she met about them. She was also very talented at crocheting and made countless afghans. She is survived by her beloved daughter who took wonderful care of her these last few years, Linda Baldwin and husband Bill of Torrington; grandsons, Bobby Baldwin and wife Sarah of Winsted and Billy Baldwin of Torrington; and great grandchildren, Oliver, Annabelle, Peter and Naomi. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers.
