Dorothy Ann Praino entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 7, 2022, she was 89 years of age.
Dorothy was born on July 2, 1933, in Mount Vernon N.Y. to Pasquale J. Lucchini and Antoinette (Versace) Lucchini.
Dot married Frank Praino on July 2, 1951, and went on to have three loving daughters, Dottie loved being a grandmother to eight beautiful grandchildren and a great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren.
She was a hairstylist for many years, owning a salon in MT Vernon N.Y. (Bobette Beauty Salon). She also worked at many salons in the Peekskill area. She loved being part of the PTA, the Women’s fire auxiliary, working at the election polls, and was a Eucharistic
Minister and the Church of the Holy Spirt Cortlandt Manor.
She had a big heart for our veterans and the Saint Jude’s Foundation.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters Barbara Agosta (husband John), Theresa Stey (husband Greg), and Debra Omboni; her sister Jacqueline (Lucchini) Kowal; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by both her parents, her husband Frank Praino, and her sister Patricia (Lucchini) Nannariello.
