Dorothy Ann (Packwood) Hayes, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, in Indianapolis. She was born January 17, 1934, in New Albany, Indiana to her parents Robert and Sally Packwood.
She was the business manager at the Daily Journal newspaper for 31 years.
Dorothy was a member of the Whiteland United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting and sewing.
She is survived by two her children; Gregory Hayes of Greenwood and Jerri (Scott) Thibaut of Liberty Township, Ohio, two brothers; Ronald (Tina) Packwood of Morrisonville, New York and William (Linda) Packwood of Jeffersonville, three grandchildren; Michelle Thibaut of Kettering, Ohio, Melissa (Kyle) Hughes of West Chester, Ohio, and Catherine Hayes of Greenwood and one great grandchild, Ava Hughes of West Chester, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sally Packwood, two brothers; Richard and Thomas Packwood, and one sister; Virginia Anderson.
