NORTH BENTON – Dorothy Ann Fox, age 88, a native of North Benton, died at 2:10 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home. She was born Jan. 13, 1930, daughter of the late Homer and Dora (Leitner) Middagh.

She was a graduate of Sebring High School, and a member of the Damascus Friends Church. She was also a member of the Rebecca Missionary and the Damascus Magazine Club. Dorothy was a former member of the North Benton Presbyterian Church where she had taught Sunday school, served as Elder and Deacon. She served on the election board for Precinct #1 North Benton for 25 years, was a 4-H Leader and Girl Scout Leader.

Dorothy had worked at Cope Furniture as a seamstress.

Her husband, James Fox, whom she married September 19, 1951, preceded her in death September 28, 2017.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Tim) Champ of CO, Sandra (Dale) Phillips and Rhonda Jones, both of North Benton; and a granddaughter, Heather (Gregory) Galvin of Bluffton, SC.
