Dorothy Anne Langsdorf, age 92, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards.
Dorothy was born December 24, 1929 in Lincoln Township, Berrien County, Michigan to Alvin and Mildred (Burke) Neuman. She married Ronald C. Langsdorf on May 4, 1949 at the Moravian Church in Wisconsin Rapids. They were blessed with 68 years of marriage and two children, Linda and Gary. Ron passed away on June 28, 2017.
Dorothy worked in the Wood County Clerk’s office for over 25 years until her retirement.
Dorothy’s greatest love was spending time with her family and friends, especially shaking dice. In her younger years, she loved bowling and playing golf.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Gary (LeAnn) Langsdorf of Wisconsin Rapids and Linda (Kevin) Sailer of Wisconsin Rapids; four granddaughters: Amie (Rob) O’Connor of North Carolina, Ashley Sailer (Joe Anderson) of Monona, WI, Danielle Potts of Wisconsin Rapids, and Sara (Andy) Slabosheski of Vesper; and seven great-grandchildren: Riley Skarda and Kaliegh O’Connor, Naomie Anderson, and Kaitlyn, Abigail and Alaina Potts. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; step-father Slim Turner; and brothers Harold Neuman and Richard Neuman.
