Dorothy A. Miller Black, 97, Anderson, passed away February 21, 2012 at Community Northview, Anderson. She was born January 16, 1915 in Wheeling, West Virginia, and resided in Anderson for more than 60 years. Dorothy was a pastor’s wife as well as a beautician for many years. She was a member of South Meridian Church of God, the Women of the Church of God, and Rise and Shine Fellowship.

She loved to invite people into her home, and had a heart for missions, and most of all, loved the Lord.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Hal Reynolds; two grandchildren, Debbie Peirce Larry and Sally Ferguson Roy; two great grandchildren, Nathanael Ferguson and Anna Ferguson; one great great granddaughter, Emma Claire Ferguson; her extended family in West Virginia, Tennessee, Florida and Indianapolis; and her loving church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William Black; daughter, Judy Reynolds in September 2010; parents, Charles and Anna J. Parker Miller; and her siblings, Helen Davis, Madeline Muenze, and Bernard Miller.
