Dorothy was a farm-girl from New Richmond, Wisconsin. Her brothers would say, “Dorothy was never in the barn!”. She spent her time with Grandma Lundy preparing the meals. They remember Dorothy always having lots and lots of friends. A highlight for Dorothy was skating on the farm lake with her brothers and friends. Dorothy was the eldest of 5 children. Dorothy moved to the twin cities after graduating from high school pursuing a nursing degree at the College of Saint Kate’s. Dorothy married Jack in 1951 and together they have 7 children. Dorothy’s family was her #1 priority. She loved attending as many events as she could, from dance recitals to sporting events. Her faith was as equally important to her. She loved her time at the cabin and was known to be a “Putzer” and social butterfly by many. During her free time she enjoyed volunteering, traveling with her girl friends and a good Brandi water with cheese and crackers. Her favorite line was, “Do you have to go? Can’t you stay a little longer?”.
