Dorothea Margaret (Cooper) Bartlett, 91, of Wallingford, formerly of Woodbury, died Friday September 16, 2011 in Meriden at the Mid State Hospital. She was the wife of Harry William Bartlett . Mrs. Bartlett was born November 27, 1919 in Waterbury, daughter of George L. and Margaret (Reed) Cooper. Mrs. Bartlett graduated Leavenworth High School in 1937 and Hartford Hospital School of Nursing in 1941. During World War II, Dorothea worked as a Red Cross nurse and surgical nurse at Waterbury Hospital. She was the Bethlehem School nurse and public health nurse from 1965-1970, and was the Woodbury School nurse from 1970-1984.
