Dorma Corbin Rhone, age 82, of Crockett, passed away into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on Saturday, the 1st day of August 2020. She was born in Rusk, Texas, on the 23rd day of November 1937, to parents Milton O. Corbin and Ophelia Hobson Corbin.
Mrs. Rhone was a Christian lady and member of North Loop Baptist Church in Crockett. She was self employed as a contractor for most of her life, working side by side with her late husband, Mack. Mrs. Rhone took pride in the value of hard work and had many talents including building cabinets and sewing. Some of her happiest moments in life were playing “42” dominoes every Tuesday and Thursday with friends and holidays with her entire family, laughing and sharing memories.
She is preceded in death by her parents Milton and Ophelia Corbin; husband, McDonald “Mack” Rhone; sons, Keith Rhone and Michael Rhone; brother, James “Jim” Corbin; and one grandson, Arron Slaugh.
Mrs. Rhone is survived by her daughter, Angie Rhone; son, Rick Rhone and wife Kim; daughter-in-law, Tina Smith Rhone; brothers, Bob Corbin and wife Jerri, Bill Corbin and wife Tommie; grandchildren, Donovan Rhone, Brieanna Perez, Ben Rhone, Nikki Urias, Adrianne Davis, Jon-Michael Rhone, Zane Rhone, Caleb Rhone, Jamie Rhone, Lyndsey Robinson, Jacob Rhone and Ashlynn Long; 14 great-grandchildren; longtime companion, Arnold Kendrick; and special friends, Regena Rhone and Jan Felcoff.
