Doris “Dot” Glowney Doris “Dot” Glowney, 95, of Denver, NC, formerly of Ridgefield, CT, wife of the late Leo J. Glowney, died on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Huntersville Medical Center, Huntersville, NC.
Dot was born in Norwalk to the late Harold and Ruth (Eccard) Webb and raised in Ridgefield where she attended Ridgefield schools.
A Ridgefield resident for eighty years, she relocated to North Carolina in 2007.
She was a retired telephone operator and a Woman of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #1373 of Danbury.
Mrs. Glowney is survived by her daughter, Lori Bauer, and her husband Clinton, a son Lee Glowney and his wife Marlene, step-daughters Theresa Fisher and Michelle Ryan and her husband Tim, a step-son Lawrence Glowney and his wife Shelly, a bother in law John Glowney and his wife Marilyn, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
