Doris Vesta Roiser, 86, of Thornton, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Tunnleton, May 10, 1929, a daughter of the late Amy Charles Zinn and Dora Sadie Bolyard Zinn. Her husband, Frank James Rosier, preceded her death September 15, 1990.
She was a member of the Blueville Church of the Nazarene. She worked at Westinghouse for 30 years, Graduated from Tunnleton High School Class 1949, After she retired she enjoyed going out to eat with friends and loved being with her family and her church family.
Doris is survived by one daughter; Dora Ellen Devers and husband Bob, Thornton, two granddaughters; Sharon Strickland and husband Eric, Cranberry Township, PA, Kimberly Garrison and husband Brian, Thornton, two great grandchildren, Noah Garrison, Thornton, Jacob Manchester, State College, PA. two special great grand puppies, Satchel and Mabel , three sisters, Evelyn Westerman, Beulah Beam, Cardington, O., Macel Westerman and husband George, Grafton, one brother-in-law, Robert Rosierand wife Shirley, Fairmont. And many nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother. Lester Zinn, one nephew, Ricky Westerman. Two brother-in-laws. Everett Carl Westerman and Dallas Beam.
