Doris B. nee Snow, Junge, age 81, of Highland, Illinois died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Highland, IL on June 2, 2010. She was born April 3, 1929 in Ewing, Missouri.
Doris had been employed as the Accounting and Claims Clerk for the Terminal Railroad before retiring in 1989, after 38 years of service. In her spare tine, she enjoyed quilting and working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl O. Junge whom she married October 29, 1960 in St. Louis, Mo. and who passed away on March 22, 2009; parents, Robert J. and Tressie M. (nee Lake) Snow; brothers, Richard W. and Harold G. Snow and Ken Harry; sisters, Aileen Lomax and Norma Jean Miller.
Mrs. Junge is survived by her son, Michael (Kate) Junge of Highland, IL.; grandchildren, Katie (Chris Holtgrave) Junge, Michael (Alanna Steinmann) Junge, Casey Junge, and John Junge; great grandchildren, Emma Warner and Elly Junge (expected in July); brothers, Robert J. (Betty) Snow of Palmyra, MO., Benjamin F. (Brenda) Snow of Albuquerque, NM.; and sister-in-law, Becky Harry of Reno, NV.
