IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO — Doris Willett Smith, 85, of Idaho Falls, died April 20, 2006, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
She was born August 20, 1920, at Nashua, New Hampshire, to Melvin Willette and Gladys Gertrude Stone Willette. She grew up and attended schools in the area. Following graduation from high school, she attended nursing school where she graduated valedictorian of her class.
On January 14, 1943, she married Francis E. Smith in Blytheville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death June 20, 1996. She was a mother and homemaker and worked as a registered nurse. She also co-owned the Pin Cushion Fabric Store in Oscoda, Michigan.
