Doris (Skoglund) Ramizi, 98, of Cromwell, formerly of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Vincent Ramizi passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2015 with her daughter by her side. Doris was born on November 6, 1917 in New Britain, daughter of the late Edward and Wilhelmina Skoglund. She had lived in Manchester for most of her life before moving to Cromwell in 2009. She received her bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University and her master’s from Columbia University. Prior to her retirement she was a third grade teacher at Green School and Waddell School in Manchester.
