Doris Hook, 85, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on January 22, 2021. Born on March 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Esther (Hoffman) Bearman. She retired from Lincoln National Life and was a former member of Martini Lutheran Church where she served on the Altar Circle.
She loved playing cards, doing puzzles, bird watching, but especially spending time with her adoring family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sister Marcille (Don) Karbach; daughters, Donna Cooper of Fremont, Kathlyn Dickerhoff of Columbia City, Connie Klotz of Fort Wayne, and Angela (Steven) Moeller of New Haven; son Jay (Kirsten) Springer of Indianapolis; stepchildren Tom (Molly) Hook of Fremont, Sue (Ernie) Gray, Nedrey Hook and Bob (Kathy) Hook of New Haven; numerous beloved grandchildren and step grandchildren, and cherished great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ned Hook, son Jeffery Springer, granddaughter, Jennifer Dickerhoff, son-in-law David Dickerhoff, brothers Paul, Carl and Ralph Bearman, stepson Michael (Diane) Hook and step great-granddaughter Cassandra Hook.
