Doris Reynolds, age 83, of Lakewood, NJ passed away, on May 20th, 2013 at Fountain View Care Center, Lakewood. Doris was born in Manahawkin, NJ, but was a lifelong resident of Lakewood.
Doris worked for the Strand Theater for many years, later working as a waitress for Hermes Luncheonette. She was a Sunday School Teacher for Old Tennant Presbyterian Church. Doris is preceded in death by her husband 1969, Allie Reynolds.
She is survived by her sons, Allie Reynolds, Jr. of Howell, NJ, Christopher Reynolds and his wife Debbie of Howell, NJ, Robert Reynolds and his wife Denise of Lakewood, NJ, and Erik Anhorn and his wife Marilyn of Jackson, NJ; two daughters, Robin Busch and her husband Frank of Lakehurst, NJ and Linda Rinck of Whiting, NJ; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Doris also is survived by her friend and aide Maria Ortiz who she loved like a daughter.
