Doris Piscitelli, age 85, of Milford, beloved wife of 61 years to the late Anthony J. Piscitelli Sr., passed away on Friday October 30, 2009 at Milford Hospital.
Daughter of the late John and Julia Anderson Burke, she was born in New Haven on April 16, 1924. Doris was employed by the former International Instruments of Orange.
She enjoyed gardening and bowling and was a member of the Senior Bowling League. Doris also was a volunteer at Milford hospital for many years.
She is survived by her three children; Mark A. Piscitelli of Stratford, Anthony J. Piscitelli and his wife Susan J. of Wallingford, and Linda J. Hoagland and her husband David of Milford; four grandchildren, Mark, Bryan, Melissa, and Haley; a sister Virginia Puzycki of Milford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Joseph Piscitelli, and three brothers, John, Richard and Robert Burke
