Doris “Peggy” Elizabeth Lewis, 92, longtime Severn resident passed away on Oct. 2, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Doris was born in Baltimore on Feb. 9, 1925 to the late Ezra Calvert and Verona Maretta (Dean) Shenton. She attended St. Clements Catholic School and Catonsville High School. She married Wilbert H. Lewis, Sr. on October 24, 1942, together they shared 57 years of marriage. Doris and Wilbert founded Odenton Hardware in 1959.
