On July 28, 2018, Doris Patricia Pettie, 88, of Severn, passed away at Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena. She was born on September 15, 1929, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Mae and Michael Detorie. She worked at Westinghouse for 38 years as an expeditor. Doris was always on the go, but she especially enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards and board games.
Doris is survived by her loving children, Sharon Walden and her husband Harold, Al Pettie and his wife Vickie, Steve Pettie and his wife Maryann, and Sandy Watkins and her husband Ron; her seven cherished grandchildren, and fourteen beloved great-grandchildren; her dear siblings, Joni Detorie, Michael Detorie Jr., and Kathy Campo; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by significant other of 38 years, Bob Norris, and her two sisters, Pauline Delost and Sally Szuba.
