Doris (Marsteller) Eberman, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, December 21, 2015. She was the wife of the late William S. Eberman, who died in 2003.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Holly (Weaver) Marsteller. She and her husband travelled and worked in Arizona, Alaska, Oregon and California, holding a number of secretarial and accounting positions before she became the Activities Director for a number of nursing homes. They returned to Bethlehem in 1983, and she and her husband became residents and worked for Lutheran Manor.
Doris was a member of Central Moravian Church, where she sang in the choir, was a member of Moravian Women, and many years ago helped build the Putz displays. She was also a member of the Bach Choir. Doris enjoyed music, art, reading, sewing and gardening.
Survivors: son William “Bill” Eberman of Bethlehem; daughter Sharon Howells and her husband Chuck of Whitehall; granddaughter Kate Howells of Whitehall; brother David Marsteller and his wife Doris of Orefield. Doris was predeceased by her brother, Frank B. Marsteller, Jr.
