Doris Marilyn (McCord) Edleman, 85, of Anderson, passed away on March 29, 2018 at her residence. She was born on May 1, 1932 in Anderson, where she resided most of her life. Doris graduated from Anderson High School in 1950.
She was a member of Lake Street Church in Chesterfield, and was very involved with Community Hospital Auxiliary. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doris is survived by her loving daughters, Lynne Golden and Cindy Edleman of Anderson; grandchildren, Brad, Jeremy, Josh, Andrew, Justin, Nicholas, and Brandis; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Edleman; son, Robert M. “Pete” Edleman; mother, Doris (Carmichael) Robertson; father, Noah Irvin McCord; and brothers, Jack McCord and Robert G. McCord.
