On Saturday, May 20, 2006, Doris Marie Scheeler (nee Roach) of Glen Burnie, passed away. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 8, 1928 and was the daughter of the late John Steven and Mary Magdelene Roach. Doris attended public schools in Baltimore, graduating from St. Jerome’s.
On December 16, 1967 she married Henry Louis Scheeler. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of their home. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Henry Louis Scheeler of Glen Burnie; two daughters, Deborah Matthews of Kingsland, Georgia, and Susan Henderson of Folkston, Georgia; two sons, David Densmore of Glen Burnie, and Gary Densmore of Cumberland, Maryland; two step-daughters, Lynn Tyner of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Wendy Shaffer of Arnold, Maryland; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Doris is also survived by four brothers, John, Kenneth, Paul and David Roach. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Corsey, and her brother, George Steven Roach.
