Doris Libengood Whetstone, 90, of Peachtree City, GA, formerly of Potomac, MD passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Southwest Christian Care Hospice. She was born July 17, 1926 in Frostburg, Maryland to the late Mel Libengood and Cora Beal Libengood.
Doris and her husband, Harry, lived in Potomac, MD for many years where they worked together at Community Auto Supply. After retirement, they lived in Tampa, FL before moving to Peachtree City ten years ago to be near their son and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Harry R. Whetstone; son, Lee Whetstone & wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Kara Whetstone, Sam Whetstone; and nephew, Bob Reese & wife Carol.
