Doris Kovach (nee:Frake) a lifelong resident of Burlington passed away on Friday at the age of 89. She was employed by the Burlington City Board of Education and proudly worked as a food service supervisor for the district. She was a Past President of the PTA and a former head of the Girl Scouts.
In her spare time she enjoyed traveling and skating and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Doris is predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Kovach, a daughter Brenda M. Kovach-Meisner, brother Clifton Frake, and daughter in law Lorraine Kovach.
She is survived by her son John L., daughter Loretta A. (Robert) Page, Debra J. (David) Kane, son in law David her grandchildren John Kovach, Tara Adams, Keith Meisner, Kevin Meisner, Kelly Powell, Jason Page, Danielle Page, Ryan Page, Lori Kane, Stacy Gutierrez, Brittany Gremmels, 25 great-grandchildren, a sister Nancy Stevenson and several nieces and nephews.
