KELLEY, Doris M. of Plainwell Passed away April 7, 2009 at Bronson Hospital. She was born March 4, 1913 in Kalamazoo, to the late Louis and Nellie Peters. Doris was united in marriage to John A. Kelley for a loving 48 years, who preceded her in death in 1982. She retired from Cadillac Overall Supply in 1978 after 20 years of service as a seamstress. She was a member of the Kalamazoo Westside Lions Club for many years. She enjoyed her yard and garden. She also enjoyed working on many different craft projects.
Surviving Doris are her children, Richard “Dick” Kelley of Covert, MI, Joan Jim Mallory of Kalamazoo and Jean Eugene Riggs of Battle Creek; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were 4 brothers, Andrew, Albert, Clarence and Donald Peters.
