Doris Jean (Nuzum) Wright, 80, of Clarksburg, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at Heartland Nursing Home, following an brief illness. She was born in Enterpirse, WV on April 1, 1931 the daughter of the late Edward Nuzum and Gertrude Mae (McIntire) Nuzum. She is survived by two daughters; Susan Carol Wright Shroyer and husband Chris of Louisville, KY and Sally Ann Wright Yerkey and husband David of Clarksburg; nine grandchildren; Joshua Yerkey, Brian Gallaher, Jeff Gallaher, Lance Gallaher, Carrie Harris, Nick Shroyer,Jonathan Shroyer, Derrek Shroyer, Becca Shroyer; six great grandchildren; two brothers; Dan Nuzum and wife Dorothy and David Nuzum; two sisters; Jeanette Orwig and Faye Sabo. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by one infant son; two brothers; Sam Nuzum and Edward Nuzum and two sisters; Margaret Cathers and Betty Rogers. She worked as a glass worker at Anchor Hocking glass factory. She loved to fish and she was loved by everyone and touched many lives. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
