Doris Jean Brown Hutson, 67, of Newnan, widow of Vernon Lee Hutson died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Piedmont Hospital in Newnan.
Born in Gadsden, AL, January 12, 1951, she was a daughter of the late David William and Margie Catherine Pitts Brown. She was of the Baptist faith. She always enjoyed a good laugh and spent countless hours with family and friends building memories that will last their lifetimes.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hutson was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Jean Smith Reyes.
Survivors include a son, Robert Lee Duffey of Austell; daughter, Debra Jane Torres of Moreland; step-son, Mike Hutson and wife Clara of Newnan; step-daughters, Patricia Riddle and husband Ronnie of Greenville, SC, Donna Tidwell and husband Tony of Sharpsburg and Darlene Marchman and husband Mark of Newnan; thirteen grandchildren, Jessie and husband Chad, Michael, Jenny, Sela and husband Richard, Angel, Clarissa, Chris, Deanna, Mattie, Lilli, Rhianna, Tyler and Lindsay; numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margie Brown Calhoun and husband Cliff, Brenda Brown Demarsh and husband Roger, all of Newnan and Betty Brown Hammond and husband Dennis of Moreland; and a brother, Terry William Brown and wife Tammy of LaGrange.
