Indianapolis- Doris J. Loomis, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday January 22, 2009 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. A daughter of the late Carl Sr. and Hazel Clifton Butler, Doris was born in Henry County, Indiana on April 27, 1923 and graduated from the Lewisville High School. She had lived in the Dublin / Cambridge City community and worked at the Doll Market in Dublin, Rihm’s Grocery and Audree’s Dress Shop in Cambridge City before moving to Indianapolis in 1951. Doris retired from the Marion County Municipal Court System where she worked in the Probate Department.
