Doris G. Holding, 103, of Anderson, passed away on July 21, 2012 at the Meadowbrooke Rehab Center & Suites Anderson, IN.

She was born on May 19, 1909 in Greenfield, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. She retired from Guide Lamp in 1968 after 25 years of service. Doris was the oldest living member of the UAW #663, and her husband helped form the union in 1937. She was a member of Anderson Order of Eastern Star where she was a fifty year member, and Main Street Church of God.

Doris is survived by her children, Joe L. Cora Holding of Anderson, David Donna Holding of Noblesville, Betty Carroll Bankston of Peru. Also her grandchildren, Deborah Lynn Holding-Maynard of Leo IN, Kathy Ann Holding-Fox Michael of Anderson, Le’Ann Holding of Middletown, Steven L. Holding Cindy of Sylvania, OH, Pamela Bankston-Clark Dennis of Peru, Curtis Bankston Vicki of Peru, Marcia Bankston-Boring David of Peru, Step-grandchildren, Duke Brannum Cathy of Lapel, Karen Shoettmer John of Lapel, and several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.

Also her brother David Carroll Warrum Marge of Anderson., and her sister Helen Warrum-Milliner of Anderson. Also her sister in law, Ramona Warrum of Anderson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Holding, father, Perry J. Warrum, mother, Martha Warrum. Brothers, Virgil Warrum, Leo Warrum, Charles Warrum, Barry Warrum, Perry Warrum, and Max Warrum, and sisters Lucille Bruce, and two infant sisters.
