Doris Elizabeth Ferguson Utsman died peacefully on November 24, 2015 in Rockledge, Florida at the age of 103.
Elizabeth is survived by her son Robert Utsman (Maureen), of San Pedro, Belize, sister Mabel Foley of Pembroke, Kentucky, brother Charles Ferguson (Nancy) of Eddyville, Kentucky, and 9 grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Earl Utsman of Cocoa Beach, Florida, brothers John Ferguson, Cecil Ferguson, Everett Earl Ferguson, Marvin Ferguson, of Lamasco, Kentucky, and sister Dell Cowan of Cadiz, Kentucky.
Elizabeth was born on October 14, 1912 in Lamasco, Kentucky and met her husband Sam at a 4th of July picnic in Detroit, Michigan and they were soon married. They bought a house in Dearborn, Michigan where Sam worked for Ford Motor Company and Elizabeth raised two boys Tom and Bob. She also was able to spend time with her four grandchildren who lived in the area. After Sam’s death she moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida in 1978.
