Peacefully on September 3, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at home in Haddon Twp., NJ. Age 85 years.Beloved wife of the late Richard W. Pulliam, Sr. Dear mother of Richard W. (Nina) Pulliam, Jr. of Landenberg, PA, Sharon E. Pulliam of Haddon Twp., NJ and Glenn D. (Jenn) Pulliam of Medford Lakes, NJ. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Richard W. III (Devyn), Michael, Matthew, Rebecca, Hannah and Maggie; 2 great granddaughters, Cassidy and Sabrina; 3 sisters: Gloria, Sarah and Nora, a sister-in-law, Jewel and her beloved Shih Tzu, Coco. A 1948 graduate of Barnegat High School, Mrs. Pulliam started her career in nursing at Cooper Hospital in 1949. She was a Head Nurse and later the Nurse Manager of Occupational and Environmental Employee Health before retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Cooper Hospital Nurses Alumni Association. Mrs. Pulliam was a former member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Collingswood and the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Haddonfield. She was also active in the Bluebird Community Club, PTA and Girl Scouts.
