Those left to honor Doris’ memory are her 2 daughters, Marilyn (and John) Wickenkamp of Newton and Arlene Webb of Newton, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchidlren; brother, Gene (and Shirley) Buckley of Monroe, Iowa; and her sister, Miriam Pieper of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dan; her brother, Robert Kool; and a sister in infancy.
Doris was a graduate of Monroe High School in 1927.
