Doris E. Jenks, 80, formerly of Cogan Station, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at Valley View Nursing Center.
Born July 19, 1931, in Exchange, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Anne Wagner Fischer.
Surviving are her sons, Alan Jenks of Steam Valley, and Joseph Jenks IV of Williamsport; daughters, Christine (Kenneth) Dauber of Cogan Station, Rose (Walter) Gordan of Nashport, Ohio, and Theresa Dischner of Cogan Station; sister, Esther Greenawalt of Williamsport; brothers, Paul Fischer of Hughesville and Richard (Linda) Fischer of Ontario, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Doris was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and was friends to many. She loved to go out dancing, play cards and collect antiques.
