Doris Ann Brotherns (Wysocky) died peacefully at home surrounded by family, late Thursday night September 1st 2022, in Acworth, GA at the age of 91. Doris is survived by her daughter Nancy Royce Brotherns (Acworth, GA). Her sister Ruth (John) Huelsbeck of Oakwood, GA. Sister-in-law Yvonne (Kieck) Wysocky of Coral Springs, FL. Nieces and nephews Mark (Amy), Kim, Susan (Albert), Jean (Roger), Karen (Gene), Steven (Marsha), Matthew (Necole) and Laura. She is predeceased by her husband Roy J. Brotherns, brother Theodore Wysocky, sister-in-law Mariann Wysocky, brother George Wysocky and Niece Christine Brown.

Doris was born on March 9th 1931 in Milwaukee, WI to Theodore F. Wysocky and Ruth E.Wysocky (Houseman). She graduated from Wauwatosa East High School in January 1949. She was able to get a job at Marine National Exchange Bank as a Bookkeeper. In 1956 she moved to Neenah, WI to take another bookkeeping job. Years later she returned to Wauwatosa, met and married the love of her life Roy on February 14th 1970. He would unexpectedly pass in December 1971 just prior to the birth of their only daughter, Nancy in January 1972. Doris would bravely continue her life as an independent strong single mother. She and her daughter would relocate to Atlanta, GA in 1986 where she spent her remaining 35 years.

She was an incredible baker, her baked goods were loved by everyone that knew her. She was a generous kind person who loved animals, children and most everyone she met.
