Doris A. (Grosenbach) Welch 1924-2015 Doris A. (Grosenbach) Welch, 90, of Streator, formerly of LaSalle, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015, at Heritage Manor in Streator. Mrs. Welch was born October 10, 1924, in Granville to Ervin and Bertha (Strack) Grosenbach.
She graduated from Hopkins High School in Granville in 1942. She married George R. Welch on January 7, 1943, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Peru. He passed away on November 27, 2014. She worked at Westclox and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Peru.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Ellen) of Streator and Ronald (Diane) of Dalzell; a grandson, Calvin Welch and two sisters Arlene (Virgil) Adolphson of Henry and Shirley White of Arvada, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; one sister, Verna Voss, and three brothers, Lyle, Merlin, and Earl Grosenbach.
