Doris A. Warner, 83, of Nekoosa, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, on November 6, 2021.
Doris was born on September 15, 1938, in Wisconsin Rapids to Harry and Josephine (Boyarski) Francis. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1956. She married George Warner at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids on September 22, 1956. He passed away on October 29, 2014.
She enjoyed reading non-fiction books, especially about the United States presidents. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles including the daily one in the newspaper; traveling throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. Christmas was Doris’ favorite holiday.
Doris is survived by her children: Mary Jo (Ron Hall) Warner, Sandy Warner, Dawn (David) Pearson, David (Marc Wittlif) Warner; grandchildren: David (Jessica) Barfknecht, Michael Barfknecht, Ashley Blossfield, Preston (Sarah) Hall, Spencer (Emily) Hall, Jasmine Hall; siblings: Gert (Melvin) Oleson, Sam Francis, Nick (Mary) Francis, Ken (Sue) Francis, George (Carol) Francis; and many nieces and nephews and other in-laws.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; mother- and father-in-law Harold and Mary Warner; sons-in-law: James Blossfield and Richard Anderson; brother and sister-in-law James and Ruth Francis; sisters-in-law: Laurie Francis and Margaret Francis; and many other in-laws.
