On Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the age of 83 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT we said our final farewell to the matriarch of our family.Dorina was born on August 14, 1936 in Oakland, CA and is survived by her husband, Adolfo Perez and her children: Luis Vega Jr, Nilda Beltran, Dory Vega, Jim Rivera, Rose Rivera and Jesse Rivera as well as over 25 grandchildren, over 25 great grandchildren, brothers Octavio Batista, Ernesto Batista and Augusto Batista, several nieces and nephews and many more. Predeceased by both parents Benigno Batista and Altagracia Padilla and daughters Marisa Vega and Yolanda Vega and several sisters and brothers.
She enjoyed cooking, music, gardening, playing games (cheating) especially in Parcheesi!
